Membership Options at Newburyport Yacht Club

Newburyport Yacht Club is a Social Club organized to:

“support recreational yachting activities among its members and to encourage and facilitate the interaction of its members through social events, educational programs, publications and activities related to yachting…”

We differentiate ourselves from a typical “marina” which is merely a place to store your boat for money. We offer a clubhouse with a pool, and a vibrant atmosphere with many activities for the whole family. We offer both seasonal and charter memberships.

Seasonal Membership – Summer/winter

Our “full year” seasonal membership provides full access to all Club facilities and activities and includes seasonal launch and haul and winter storage. 

• Limited Assigned berthing location (based on seasonal availability)
• Seasonal Membership fee + per foot see rate schedule
• Membership fee may be applied to Charter membership upgrade within one year
• Dinghy dock tie up based on availability
• Standard dockside power and water included
• Use of pool and member facilities
• Participation in member events
• Spring Launch and Fall Haul-out
• Power wash Member Discount
• Additional electrical power member discount
• Discounted winter land storage see rate schedule

Seasonal Membership – “Winter Land Only”

Our seasonal “Land-only” membership provides haul, power-wash, winter land storage, and spring launch. Includes access to power and water in yard for spring commissioning. Fee may be applied to seasonal land/sea membership (based on availability of berthing locations).

Note: this membership is geared towards those who may be considering a seasonal or charter membership at Newburyport Yacht Club.

Charter Membership

If you are a long term boater and value the security of a fixed berthing location. Consider moving up to charter membership. The purchase of an available charter membership includes an assigned slip location, launch/haul, winter storage, full access to all club facilities and activities as well as voting and serving as an officer
